Timmons Park, located at 121 Oxford Street, reopened with a ceremonial pickleball drop serve!
Members of City Council were on hand for the reopening, along with City Manager John McDonough.
The newly renovated pickleball courts are just one aspect of the facelift the park received. Crews replaced playground equipment, installed a new picnic area, addressed parking issues and improved ADA accessibility.
The work on the 26.6-acre park began in May 2021. Timmons Park is also home to a mountain bike trail and 18-hole disc golf course.
