Business License Incentive Program

A new business incentive program launched this month is accepting applications. Many new and existing businesses are eligible for a business license rebate.

The program's goal is to attract new establishments - like grocery stores and childcare centers - in certain areas of the City. But the program is available to many others:

• Artist (established in specific areas)
• Retail (established in specific areas)
• Manufacturing
• Corporate Headquarters
• Grocery Store (established in Special Emphasis Neighborhoods)
• Child Care Businesses
• Any Commercial Annexation (voluntary)

New qualifying businesses can receive a 5-year, 100% business license rebate. Existing qualifying businesses are eligible for a 5-year, 50% business license rebate. Eligible businesses must apply for the program each year it is available.
