IMAGINE FESTIVAL RESCHEDULED

The iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival fueled by Fluor, originally set for April 1, will be rescheduled for Saturday, August 26.

Due to forecasted severe weather and high winds, the iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival fueled by Fluor, originally set for April 1, will be rescheduled for Saturday, August 26. The STEAM event has 70+ vendor tents and exhibits with robots, drones and other high tech displays that could easily sustain damage. 

Emergency Management and Fire Department officials expressed concerns about the danger of wind gusts to visitors, vendors and equipment. Additionally, rain is expected Saturday morning and would impact event set up. Festival organizers sent the following message: "We are disappointed but need to put safety first. We look forward to welcoming families later this year."
